Centrifugal pumps have wide ranging applications. The pump operates on the simple physics of transferring rotational kinetic energy from the rotor, through an impeller, which forces the fluid outward toward a discharge point. Centrifugal pumps can be used for transferring high volumes of fluid long distances or move the fluid to an elevated height.
