Abrasive Cold Cutting
Cold cutting is a common means for either precision cutting or demolition purposes where the use of hot work cutting is not possible.
Cutting can be carried out at a variety of pressures up to 40,000 psi by using high pressure water manipulated and controlled remotely. AWE have a variety of cold cutting systems available for a variety of situations.

Cement Truck Cleaning
Keeping a clean barrel drum on your cement truck is a difficult task to carry out efficiently on a daily basis in a cost effective efficient manner.
With the Drumblaster system this is made easy. This simple cost effective easy to use system washes out trucks drums after every empty prior to refill. This then reduces road travel costs, controls the buildup of concrete regardless no matter the strength or type. System is linked to a fleet management system and monitors each truck in turn increasing and maintaining capacity of each truck.

Dewatering
Dewatering is a necessity in most construction sites close to sea level or where the water table is high and ground water is a problem. The practice of dewatering allows construction to continue safely and prepare the worksite for dry base to work from.
AWE has supported construction service companies with dewatering pumps for over 10 years. Through the range of Pioneer pump products, we are able to offer dewatering pumps with suction lift capabilities over 7 meters deep. Our clients use these pumps in a variety of applications including well point or sump pumping and can be used to lift water from wells at depths well below ground level or to feed other booster pumps.

Fluid Transfer Pumping/Over Pumping
Maintenance of municipality utilities are a regular requirement. To avoid uninterrupted service of water, sewage and stormwater facilities, over-pumping or bypass pumping is used to pass the supply around the areas requiring maintenance without completely shutting down the network.

Hydro-demolition
A means to selectively remove concrete in a controlled manner, to a pre-set depth, without damaging the rebar & which cleans couplers & starter bars, producing no micro cracks while removing low, pour quality concrete.
Without the need for scaffolding, the wireless remotely operated robots can replace up to 5 hand held water jetting guns, 25 laborers with hand held jack hammers or 3 excavators with jack hammers. Hydro demolition UHP waterjetting is recommended in European Standards SS EN 1504-10 2017 for repair, restoration and new construction works.
